Terms of Service

Carolina Core Lawns is a service offered by Carolina Core Services LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide residential lawn-maintenance services including mowing, edging, line-trimming, aeration, seasonal cleanups, mulch installation, and sod. We do not perform any work that requires a pesticide, herbicide, or fertilizer applicator license or certification: no fertilizer application, no weed control, no pre-emergents or post-emergents, no insecticides, no grub control, and no other restricted-use products. Fertilizer service is unavailable until the applicable licensing is in place.

2. Quotes & Pricing

Estimates from our online estimator are based on the information you provide. Final pricing for properties over one acre or unusual site conditions is confirmed in writing before service.

Labor on one-time and à-la-carte visits is billed at $75 per hour. A standalone visit bills a two-hour minimum ($150), which covers travel to and from your property, setup and teardown, plus the work itself. Work added to a visit we are already making bills a one-hour minimum ($75), because the trip is already covered by the anchor job. Prepaid multi-visit packages and standing schedules receive a trip-amortization discount of 10–25% depending on commitment, never below $95 per visit. Recurring mow plans and Guardian memberships are priced separately and are not subject to the two-hour minimum.

2a. Pool tidying — scope

Pool tidying only: we scrub walls and waterline, net surface debris, and clear the skimmer and pump strainer baskets. We handle no chemicals, do no water testing, service no filter media or equipment, and are not a licensed pool service company.

• No chemicals of any kind — no chlorine, shock, acid, algaecide, stabilizer or balancing
• No water testing, chemical readings, or chemistry advice
• No filter media service (no cartridge cleaning, sand or DE work), no backwashing, no valve operation
• No pump, heater or plumbing repair, and no equipment troubleshooting
• We are not a licensed pool operator or service company — this is exterior tidying only

3. Payment & Recurring Billing

Recurring plans are billed automatically to your saved payment method per the cadence you select (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or membership). Charges occur on or shortly after each completed visit (or on the monthly anniversary for Guardian memberships). You authorize us to retain and charge that card for each visit until you cancel.

4. Cancellation & Pauses

You may cancel or pause any plan at any time from your customer portal, with no cancellation fee. If a visit is already scheduled within the next 48 hours, that visit still runs and is billed as completed. Completed visits are non-refundable. 5. Account Credits, Referral Rewards & Promotions

Any account credit, referral reward, neighbor bonus, promotional discount, or goodwill credit issued to you is a service credit only. Service credits:

• Apply solely toward future Carolina Core Lawns services on your account.
• Have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and are not refundable under any circumstances.
• Are non-transferable between accounts or addresses.
• Do not accrue interest and may expire if your account is closed or fully refunded.
• Are issued at our discretion and may be revoked in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

Earning a credit (for example, by referring a neighbor) does not create a debt owed to you. We do not owe you money for any credit balance — credits exist only as a discount against future services we perform.

6. Weather & Rescheduling

Service is weather-dependent. We may reschedule for heavy rain, lightning, saturated turf, freezing conditions, or unsafe wind. Rescheduled visits are billed only after they are completed.

7. Property Access

You agree to provide safe, unobstructed access to the yard on your scheduled day, including gate codes, unlocked gates, and removal of personal items (toys, pet waste, fragile yard art). Missed visits caused by lack of access may be billed as completed.

8. Pets

Pets must be secured indoors during service. We are not responsible for pets that escape due to a gate left unsecured by the property owner. Please remove pet waste from the mowing area prior to our arrival.

9. Liability

We are fully insured. Our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the affected service. We are not responsible for damage caused by unmarked irrigation heads, invisible fence wires, buried cables, decorative items hidden in grass, or pre-existing turf conditions. Notify us in writing within 7 days of service to make a claim.

10. Communications

By providing your email or mobile number you consent to receive service-related communications. SMS consent is opt-in and separately disclosed at the time of booking. Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Onslow County, North Carolina.
